Selim Corbacioglu is Professor of Paediatric and Adolescent Medicine and Head of the Department of Paediatric Haematology, Oncology and Stem Cell Transplantation at the University Hospital Regensburg.
In 2019, he successfully treated a beta-thalassaemia patient for the first time with a CRISPR/Cas9-based gene therapy.
The lecture is part of the CAS Research Focus “CRISPR/Cas – Chances and Challenges”.

The event will take place as a Zoom meeting.
