Paris-Munich Epigenetics Workshop & Symposium

Max Planck Institute of Biochemistry on June 14-16, 2023.

14.04.2023 – 16.04.2023

We would like to inform you about the Paris-Munich Epigenetics Workshop & Symposium which will take place at the Max Planck Institute of Biochemistry on June 14-16, 2023.

The three-day Symposium in Martinsried will bring together scientists from the Paris and Munich epigenetics communities who will present the latest insights into their research. Thanks to generous support from the DFG SFB 1064 Chromatin Dynamics, Labex, the French-German University, and EMBO the Symposium is open for all and free of charge, however registration is required. There will be a poster session and the opportunity to present short talks - we therefore encourage especially early career researchers to submit an abstract for a poster and/or a talk when registering. The registration and abstract submission deadline for the Symposium is May 15, 2023.

The Symposium is flanked by a Workshop that is aimed at early career researchers new to the field of epigenetics (motivated master students, doctoral researchers, postdocs). The Workshop focusses on the core concepts of cutting-edge epigenetics research, as well as career orientation and communication skills, and is open to selected early stage doctoral and postdoctoral researchers. A limited number of Travel Grants will be available for participants from outside the Munich area. Workshop applicants should provide an abstract, short motivational letter, and a short CV. Application deadline for the Workshop is next week, Saturday April 15, 2023. If you want to attend then don't miss your chance to secure a spot!

For more information regarding the program of the Symposium and the Workshop, and for registration/application please visit our website:
